Plan

It is essential there is a plan in place when applying to UK boarding schools because no deadlines or assessment day dates are the same; no registration form or entrance procedure follow suit; there is no uniform level of English or latest maths grades required; and unless you have visited a school you most definitely don’t know it well enough to decide if it is the right school for your child.

We PLAN a familiarisation trip to visit schools and surrounding areas.
We PLAN extra English support.
We PLAN cultural awareness sessions and interview practice.
We PLAN your child’s application timeline.
We PLAN to make your child stand out by creating their detailed WBS Student Profile.
We PLAN entrance exam logistics.
We PLAN everything so you don’t have to.

The first steps of our PLAN are to meet you and your child. We will assess your child in Verbal and Non Verbal reasoning, maths and English.

We will get to know them through an informal interview before then discussing with you what needs to be done in order to best prepare your child for the journey ahead of them.

PLAN – The Plan of Action

Planning is a vital part of any school placement.  Whether your child is 5 or 15 we work with you to make sure that you and your child’s experience of applying to UK schools is a positive one.  We listen to what it is you want for your child, and initiate a plan of action that will deliver the best outcome.

PLAN – How do we plan?

Our Plan of Action will depend on your child’s age, their academic ability and the year in which you wish them to join a UK school. No matter what your child’s age now we highly recommend you contact us for a chat to make sure that we don’t miss out on certain schools’ cut off dates for receiving applications.  We are experts on the complex admissions process into UK boarding schools, which is why our clients are thankful to have us by their side every step of the way.

PLAN – What do we Plan?

Our Plan of Action includes a timeline for school visits and registrations as well as preparation and test dates for pre-tests such as UKiset and the ISEB Common Pre-Test; our WBS Student Profile videos and personal statements; one to one interview familiarisation sessions, cultural awareness sessions (if applicable) and entrance exam tutoring with qualified and experienced tutors.
