It is essential there is a plan in place when applying to UK boarding schools because no deadlines or assessment day dates are the same; no registration form or entrance procedure follow suit; there is no uniform level of English or latest maths grades required; and unless you have visited a school you most definitely don’t know it well enough to decide if it is the right school for your child.
We Prepare
Often it is a child's lack of English and cultural awareness that causes them problems when applying to UK schools. Many students have never sat a cognitive ability test or studied science in English before; others have never read an English novel or even visited the UK. Consequently, they need adequate exposure to these things before being faced with the competitive entrance procedure of UK boarding schools.
We Present
Thousands of students apply each year to UK schools and competition for places is fierce. Every school has its own quota of how many students from one region they can offer places to each year, making entry to top schools even more of a challenge, especially for those with English as a second language. It is important that your first engagement with a school leaves a lasting impression.
We Place
We accompany the family to visit schools in the UK. We assist them with everything from registration through to acceptance of an offer. We then help with the purchase of new school uniform and finding a suitable guardian family. When the child has been at the school for one term we visit with them to see how they are getting on. From that point we will always be there for the student to contact if they have any problems. The parents will have WBS and their child's guardian family to rely upon and keep their child safe, happy and healthy.
